There are a few CRM’s that allow us to mirror the hierarchy set up within the CRM (SFDC, NetSuite, Dynamics, and Zendesk Sell as of 6/21/22). Any customers connecting with a different CRM or not connecting with a CRM will have to set up their hierarchy manually in ChurnZero. Those who use Salesforce have the choice to set up their hierarchy manually in CZ, although this is less common.
The steps for setting up ChurnZero only User hierarchy are outlined below:
- Contact your CSM to have them confirm that your configuration settings are updated to allow you to complete this setup.
- Navigate to Admin > User Accounts to set up the hierarchy; for each CZ user, they’ll need to click into their user profile and scroll to the “Organization Settings”.
- Click on the Manager field drop-down and select your respective Manager.
Once each user has their direct Manager defined, the hierarchy will be set.
