In your profiles, you'll see a panel at the right of your screen. This is your ChurnZero Timeline. Here you can get a bird's eye view of upcoming tasks, meetings, and events, items that may have become overdue, or activities that occurred in the past. These events and activities are shown in cards that appear in order within your timeline.
NOTE: Timeline cards are customizable per profile layout, which means you may not see some of the cards mentioned in this article. Layouts are configured by admin users on your team to streamline your profile experience and customize the data to what you and your team need to see on a daily basis.
You can keep the panel in view, or use the right-pointing arrow in the top left corner to collapse it. (You can then click on the arrow again, this time left-pointing, to bring the panel back.) In this panel, you will see a series of cards for tasks, alerts, events, and other items you may want to keep track of. You can click on an individual card to get a full view of its information or use the Actions menu to:
Please note: Specific actions available may differ depending on the card type and your role.
- Edit: Select Edit to change the task associated with the card. The "Edit Task" window appears, where you can make changes to the fields. Changes include updates in assignments, edits to details, and changes to due dates.
- Mark as Complete: If you've already completed a task, you can mark it as complete right from the account or contact profile page! Just select "Mark as Complete" from the Actions menu dropdown.
- Delete: You can remove a card from your Timeline completely by selecting Delete.
The panel is divided into two tabs: Upcoming and History.
In the Upcoming tab, you will see cards with items that are due, overdue, or taking place in the future. These are divided by month, and you can collapse a month's details out of the way if you aren't ready to view them. The items at the top represent the most overdue (or nearly due) items, and cards lower in the list are further out in the future.
Each card in this tab shows you when a specific item is due, who it's assigned to, and more important details. This gives you an easy, at-a-glance view of items for the upcoming months all in one place. Card types for the Upcoming tab include:
- Meetings
- Messages for review
- Notes
- Tasks
In the History tab, you will see things that have already taken place. These are divided by month, and you can collapse a month's details out of the way if you aren't ready to view them. This gives you an overview of events that may have had an impact on the overall health of the account, from completed tasks to alerts received.
Each card in the History tab includes an icon specific to the card type. Card types for the History tab include:

Adding Filters:
If you're looking for a specific card type or events that occurred on a specific date, you can click on the Filters button at the top right of your panel. This will open the Filters panel, where you can choose filters for both your Upcoming and History tabs.
To filter by date:
Use the dropdown in both sections to select a date or range of dates.
To filter by card type:
The blue check mark beside each card type indicates a card type that is currently appearing in your results. Click on a blue check mark to remove it (and take the card type out of your results), or click on the checkbox to include a card type.
Set Default Filters
If you want to apply the same set of filters from the start, you can set a default status. For more information on how to create these defaults, see Set Your Timeline Default Preferences.

Bring back the old Messages and Notes tabs. Aint nobody got time to remember and click through a bunch of filters all the time.
