Reading journey reports can help you dive deeper into a specific journey and its associated information. Get a bird's eye view of journey progress, journey status, the details of accounts in the journey.
In this article, we'll go over:
To access the report, click the actions menu for the journey and select View Report.
Journey Dashboard
The first thing you see when you enter a report is the dashboard. This dashboard is designed to help you identify trends and drill down to figure out how to move specific customers forward. You can see the criteria for the journey displayed at the top.
You can also filter by different parameters for specific information. The filtering toolbar at the top right of your screen shows the filtering options:
- Show: Adjust the dashboard to see the journey status of All Accounts, Accounts You Own, or Accounts in Your Domain.
- Filter by segment(s): Find a specific segment to focus on. An example might be narrowing the results down to customers in a specific vertical.
-
Progress: Use this dropdown to select from a specific status. You can choose from
- In Progress: Shows only customers still working through the journey.
- Completed: Shows only customers who have completed the journey.
- Failed: Shows only customers who have failed the journey.
- Last X Days: This adjusts the report to show changes for the specified period. You can choose All History to see changes across the full life of the report.
Journey Status Report
This section of the dashboard will help you showcase the customer's status (On Track, Behind, or Stuck) in the selected journey and the ebb and flow of customers over time.
The total number of customers and their current status is at the top. You can also see the percentage change based on the time period you selected. To explore a list of customers currently in that status, simply click on the number above the status you want to explore.
Milestone Tracking
The Milestone Tracking Report is designed to help you identify where your customers are in the overall journey according to the milestones you set up.
This section allows you to identify and report on where your customers might encounter difficulty moving forward. Similarly to the Journey Status Report, you can click on the number hovering above the specific milestone to explore further.
Let's inspect a milestone more closely:
- Milestone Name: This is the name of the milestone that you're taking a look at. The example above is specifically showing the "Onboarding" milestone in this journey.
- Number of Customers in Milestone: This number quickly shows how many customers are currently engaged in this specific milestone. The bar below displays the percentage of total customers in this milestone compared to the total number of customers in the journey. You can click on this number to display these customers in an account segment for further filtering.
- Number and Percentage Change: We display the number and percentage change over the last X days (determined by the filter at the top right-hand corner of the dashboard).
- Number and Percentage of Customers in Status: This bar displays the number of customers in the milestone who qualify for each status. You can click on the red, yellow, or green bars to display these customers in an account segment if you want to include additional filters.
Account Details Report
The Account Details table includes columns indicating how many days an account has been in a journey. Additional column labels show Days in Milestone, Steps, and Milestone Completion. You can customize the columns you see in the report to add or remove columns related to the account or journey/milestone information. This can help you see your customers' status within a journey or milestone.
By default, the report is ordered by account name. You can use the arrows next to the column titles to sort by other information (like Journey Start or Milestone Start) instead.
From here, you can jump directly to the Journeys tab by clicking on the account you wish to inspect further. You can export a selection of accounts by:
- Choosing the accounts you want.
- Clicking Bulk Actions.
- Selecting Export.
